It was a great pleasure for me to exhibit in the 32nd Stuttgarter Kunst Austellung organized by the Verein zur Förderung der Kunst Stuttgart e.V.
The walls at the exhibition was flanked with amazing artworks done in various media, such as, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil etc. From portraits to abstracts, this exhibition hosted a vast range of creativity. Not only paintings but also sculptures and other 3D artworks graced the atmosphere at the exhibition. Besides admiring the magnificent artworks here, I also had the opportunity to meet and exchange with the tremendously talented artists from all over Germany.
The excitement and joy of exhibiting here intensified by leaps and bounds when at the vernissage my painting, "Through the Arches" was conferred with the first prize. I am thankful to the jury for this honor and appreciating my artworks.
I am excited that my painting, entitled "Tram 28" has been selected by the Japan International Watercolor Institute for their Autumn Exhibition of Excellent Paintings in 2022.
My painting shows a night scene of a tram on the famous route number 28 in Lisbon, Portugal.
I am honored and pleased to be one of the finalists of the 3rd International Masters of Watercolor Youth Alliance Member Selection Contest. Several applications were received for this contest and only 150 finalists were selected.
My painting, entitled "La Serenissima", depicted a scene of one of the canals in Venice. This city was traditionally known as, "La Serenissima", which means the most serene in Italian.
THe 40th edition of Strassengalerie, Herrenberg took place on 2nd July, 2022. Artists at more than 80 stands exhibited several forms of artworks, like paintings, ceramic, sculpture and jewelry design. This diversity of artistic expression made this exhibition to be one of it's kind.
I was one of the exhibiting artists and stood at stand number 49. It was a great experience to attend such an event as it gave me an opportunity to communicate with art loving people, who were also excited to meet the artists. This wonderful event of art and culture was a huge success and everyone had a pleasant time at the exhibition.
This year the International Watercolor Congress Meeting was held in Bologna and Fabriano, Italy in May. This massive event provided a platform for watercolor artists from all the world to connect, discuss and learn from each other.
I had a wonderful 4-day experience at this event and had the pleasure to meet many eminent artists. There was an art exhibition by artists selected from different countries and a series of watercolor demonstrations. The atmosphere of the place was filled with art and creativity.
The historical cities with it's magnificent monuments and piazzas presented amazing motifs for plein-air paintings. I couldn't resist the urge and painted the famous Piazza Maggiore in Bologna and Piazza del Comune in Fabriano.
I am looking forward to the next year's festival and until then dwell on the delightful memories of this year.
